Lark Family Hub

The Lark Family Hub, formerly the Lark Children’s Centre at Recreation Road, has moved to the newly developed Mildenhall Hub.

The Lark is a full-time family hub will deliver all the services delivered by the children’s centre and incorporates services delivered at the health centre by the health visiting team.

The new building provides families with a new space to enjoy inside and a larger outside space. The move also provides the hub with the opportunity to deliver a wider and more proactive service to children from 0-19 and their families.

Most services provided at the children’s centre have now moved across to the hub, but many groups are still being provided virtually due to the COVIED-19 pandemic. The hub hopes to be able to return to face to face groups soon but will continue to provide virtual groups alongside this.

If families would like more information about the Lark Family Hub or any children’s health services, they can contact the team on 0345 607 8866 or via email at childrenshealth@suffolk.gov.uk.

Families who have children aged between 0-5 can now also access services via Chat Health on 07312 277020. This is a free confidential text service that provides support for families in many areas such as feeding, sleep and development. The service is available Monday to Friday, 9am to 4:30pm, excluding bank holidays.

Alternatively, families can access information and links to other organisations at: Suffolk County Council - Health visiting and children's health offer.
