The new Mildenhall Library is run by Suffolk Libraries which is an independent and charitable organisation which runs the library service in Suffolk.

Like all our libraries, the new Mildenhall Library provides weekly sessions for young children and older people along with printing and photocopying facilities as well as free internet access. Of course, it also provides access to thousands of books, CDs and DVDs.

Recent research has revealed the impact that library activities have on people’s lives, helping children to develop their literacy and social skills and tackling social isolation in older people and parents.

Suffolk Libraries already works successfully in partnership with other local organisations with several libraries sharing space with other public services. The new library based in the Mildenhall hub provides a modern library space with space to run library services and activities which everyone in the area can benefit from.
