Abbeycroft Leisure, who will manage the leisure facilities at the hub, are a not-for-profit social enterprise, which means they re-invest any financial surplus back into the services.
They work for the whole community, providing quality facilities such as gyms, swimming pools, fitness studios and outdoor spaces, as well as a range of community programmes and mass participation events, to provide opportunities to lead a healthier, active lifestyle.
Their exercise on referral programmes were the first in the county to be accredited with a quality standard, and they work closely with a number of local health providers, to ensure customers have access to the best opportunities for a healthy lifestyle.
Abbeycroft currently manages 16 facilities across Suffolk and one in Cambridgeshire, on behalf of West Suffolk Council and Babergh District Council.
